Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of the websites, previews and services provided by rowbo.dev, a web-services business operated by Tom Rowbotham & Phoebe Tan, based in London, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing a plan or otherwise using our services, you (“you”, the “customer”) agree to these Terms.
1. What we provide
We build and host auto-generated websites for small businesses. We create an initial preview site from your publicly available online listing information (for example your Google, Facebook or Airbnb listing), and - once you purchase - we publish that site for you, host it, keep it updated and provide ongoing support.
2. Plans and pricing
All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and are stated exclusive of any taxes that may apply.
- Go Live - £30/month, no setup fee. A recurring subscription of £30/month covers building and publishing your site plus hosting, updates and support. Your first month is charged today, it renews automatically each month, and it continues until you cancel. There is no one-time setup fee.
- Brand Pack - contact us. Everything in Go Live plus a custom logo, bespoke palette and hand-designed layout. Priced individually; this plan starts with a call and no payment is taken at sign-up.
- Tailored - contact us. SEO, marketing, content and custom builds, scoped and priced individually.
3. Subscription terms
The £30/month subscription is billed monthly in advance via Stripe using the payment method you provide at checkout, and renews automatically each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your site editor (Billing) or by emailing tom@rowbo.dev; cancellation stops future renewals and your site remains live until the end of the paid period. If a payment fails, we allow a short grace period (around 14 days) to update your payment details before the site may be suspended. Refunds and cancellation are covered in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
4. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate account and billing information and keep it up to date.
- Ensure you have the right to use, and to ask us to publish, any content, images, listings or branding you provide or ask us to include.
- Comply with all laws applicable to your business and its customers.
- Keep your payment method valid while the subscription is active.
5. Intellectual property & ownership
You own your content - your listing text, photos, branding and any materials you supply, together with any custom logo we create for you under the Brand Pack. We own the underlying website template, platform, code and design system, and we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your site for as long as your subscription is active. If your subscription ends, the licence to the hosted template ends with it, but your own content remains yours to take elsewhere.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use our services to:
- Publish unlawful, infringing, misleading or fraudulent content.
- Impersonate another person or business, or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, overload or gain unauthorised access to our systems.
- Resell or sublicense the template or platform without our written permission.
We may suspend or remove content or sites that breach these Terms.
7. Third parties
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Airbnb, Google, Facebook or any other listing platform we read from. We rely on third-party providers (including Stripe for payments and Vercel for hosting) to deliver our services, and their availability is outside our direct control.
8. Limitation of liability
We provide our services with reasonable care and skill, but we do not warrant that a site will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability arising out of or in connection with the services is limited to the amounts you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer protections available to you.
