Do I need a website for my gym if I am on ClassPass and Mindbody?
Yes. ClassPass and Mindbody do their jobs, one fills the off-peak classes that would otherwise go half empty, the other runs the schedule and the payments, and neither reaches the woman who has decided this is the month she starts training again and has never heard of your gym. That woman searches Google, opens a website, and signs up. Right now the website she opens isn't yours.
Why your own site finds new customers
Search and AI read the open web. Google, ChatGPT and Claude fetch pages at addresses like yourgym.co.uk. A listing inside an app is mostly not something they can fetch. If the only description of your gym out there was written to a platform's template, that's the version anything reading about you has to work from.
With your own site you own the words people search for. Reformer Pilates. Strength training for beginners. Personal training near me. The intro offer, and what the first session is actually like for somebody who has never lifted anything. Each of those can be a page in the language of the person searching, and there can be one for every coach on your floor.
That reader is not the same as an app user browsing classes on credits. She has already decided to join somewhere. What she's doing now is working out which room she'll feel least self-conscious walking into, and she'll decide that off whichever page tells her the most about the place: who coaches the beginners' class, what the floor looks like at seven in the morning, what happens in the first week. A membership decided that way is worth a great deal more to you than a single class paid for in credits, and it's decided on a search that never opens an app.
How we make it simple
Your Google Business Profile is where the build starts. The hours, the phone number, the address and the reviews Google already shows become the site's foundation, so the opening time on the door and the one on the internet agree with each other without you doing anything about it.
From the services on that listing we make a page each, and an FAQ out of the questions your reviews keep raising: parking, showers, whether there's a joining fee, how long the contract runs, whether beginners are welcome in the strength class. A page for the person coming back after ten years off is the kind of page a site of your own can carry, and you can add it whenever you like.
The technical work you'd otherwise pay a marketing agency a retainer for comes with it. The site is written to be indexed by Google and read by ChatGPT: pages of real text, structured data describing the gym, a sitemap, and all of it submitted to Google and Bing when it goes live. Google can show a page at your address, under your gym's name, working for one gym.
We build it from the name, check it and get in touch within one working day, with no brief to write and nothing to upload first. After that it tracks your Google listing, so a timetable change or a bank holiday closing is one edit in a place you were already keeping current, rather than three edits in three apps and a printed sheet on the door.
How they work together
The apps keep filling classes. Somebody spending credits or booking through Mindbody does it exactly as they do now, and it lands in your schedule the same way. Put your booking link behind the Book a class button on your site and it works the same from there. The difference is the join: a member who finds your site, walks in and signs up with you is signed up on your terms and at your price, not on a platform's.
Your Instagram bio and the website field of your Google profile both point at your domain, so the person who watched one class clip lands somewhere you control rather than on a timetable with eight other studios under it. The website field is the link most people press once Google has shown them your name. The apps keep the members they were always best at reaching, and the site works on the ones who search rather than scroll.
What you pay
£30 a month, billed monthly. A real multi-page site, your classes, your timetable and your coaches, built from your Google listing and sat on your own .co.uk or .com, with hosting and updates included. Built and checked by us, yours to read before you commit to anything, cancel any month, and you walk away with the domain. One member a month covers it.
Put your gym's name into our gym page and we'll build one from your Google listing. Have a look before you decide.
Have a look before you decide
Tell us your business name and how to reach you. We build a site from your Google listing and get in touch within one working day. It's £30 a month if you keep it, and you can cancel any month.
