Website

Just need a website?

£30a month, per location

For any trade. Your site on your own domain, looked after by us. We build it, check it and show it to you within one working day. No card, and nothing to cancel if you walk away.

Put it another way: one extra customer a week covers it. You only pay once you've seen it.

Our estimate: around 10 more customers a month. That is people who search, then find you instead of somebody else.

Based on typical monthly searches for a local business in a UK town and what a page-one result gets.

The whole site, built and live on your own domain
Hosting and updates, all in
Changes whenever you ask, made by us at no extra cost
Google and AI search optimisation
Built mobile-first
Your photos and your branding
No ads, ever

What the £30 covers

The website is the easy part to price. What owners get caught by is everything either side of it: the fee to start, the bill for moving the old site, the domain that turns out to be extra. Here is every line, with ours next to the three other ways of buying a website.

Prices checked 12 August 2026.

A DIY builder here is Wix, at the UK prices in our August research. A one off build is a freelancer or an agency: the build band is the one Fiverr publishes and the hourly figure is Upwork’s median, both in US dollars at the £1 to $1.27 rate, and the maintenance range is the UK typical. A pay monthly agency is the UK market in the same research, so Mojo, Inventis, Kitching, MonthlyWebDesign and Pixelish. Where the research records nothing, the cell says varies rather than a number we made up. Ours is £30 a month, billed monthly.

Is there a setup or migration fee?

No, and nothing to migrate either. You look at the whole site before you pay, the first month is £30 and every month after it is £30. We build from your Google listing rather than moving an old site across, so there is no migration to pay for. Work it back and £30 is one extra customer a week.

Do I pay for the domain?

No. A standard domain is part of every plan and you pick it when you go live. It renews while you are subscribed, with nothing separate to pay for it. A few short, in-demand names are priced higher by the registry: if you want one of those we show you the yearly price first, you pay it once, and that domain is yours.

Can I bring my own domain?

Yes, and there's nothing to pay for it. Tell us the name and we point it at your new site. It stays registered wherever it is now, in your name.

What happens to my domain if I cancel?

You keep it. Tell us where you want it and we transfer it out while it is still active. The site comes down at the end of the month you have paid for, and your photos and your words come back with it. Nothing is held hostage.

Can I pay yearly?

Yes, if you'd prefer one invoice. Email us and we'll set it up.

Do changes cost extra?

No. Email us, WhatsApp us or reply to any message from us with what you want changed, and we make the change. There's no per-change fee, and that's the point of paying monthly.

I've got six cottages.

We support it. One site, all six properties: we'll either find them automatically from your Airbnb profile, or you send us the links and we add them.

Is there a contract?

No. The website plan is £30 a month and you can cancel any month. The ordering plans are £50, £149 or from £349 a month, and you can move between them or go back to just the website any month. There is nothing to sign and nothing that ties you in.

Who holds the money from an order?

You do. A customer's card payment goes to your own Stripe account and into your own bank on Stripe's own payout schedule. It never passes through us, so there is nothing for us to hold on to or pay out late. You are the one Stripe pays.

What does a card payment cost?

Stripe's standard pricing, from 1.5% + 20p per payment on a UK card, the same on every plan, taken automatically as the customer pays. Some cards cost more, and Stripe lists every rate on its own pricing page. An order someone pays for in cash or in person carries no card fee at all.

Does Rowbo take a cut of my card payments?

No. We take nothing per order on any plan. The card fee is Stripe's own processing fee, which Stripe sets and charges to your Stripe account. You pay us the monthly price and that is all.

Does it work with my till?

If you use Square, we connect it when you join Medium or Bespoke, so your online orders land in your Square till alongside your counter sales. Using a different till? Tell us which one.

What do I get on Medium and Bespoke today?

We are setting both up with our first restaurants, and the features marked as coming are built for the first restaurant that joins each plan. Contact us before you sign up and we will tell you exactly what is ready and when the rest will be. On Bespoke, the work we do for you by hand starts straight away. What we do for you on Bespoke, and its monthly price, is agreed with you in writing before you start.

How does an order reach the kitchen?

Every order lands in your inbox the moment it is placed, laid out as a ticket the kitchen can work from, and you can print it on any receipt printer. Automatic printing straight to a kitchen printer is something we are adding, and we set it up with you when you want it.
