What changes when a salon on Fresha gets its own website

Yes. Fresha and Instagram do their jobs, one holds the diary and the deposits, the other sells the work better than any paragraph could, and neither reaches the woman who is having her hair coloured for the first time and is nervous enough to read everything first. That woman searches Google, opens a website, and makes her choice. Right now the website she opens isn't yours.

Why your own site finds new customers

Search and AI read the open web. Google, ChatGPT and Claude fetch pages at addresses like yoursalon.co.uk. A profile inside somebody else's app mostly is not something they can fetch. If the only description of your salon out there was written into a platform's template, that's the version anything reading about you has to work from.

Own the site and you own the exact words people search for. Balayage in your town. Curly cuts. Bridal hair and the trial that comes before it. Colour correction after somebody's box dye went wrong. Each of those is a page, written in the language of the woman running that search, and there can be one for every service you offer. You can edit your Fresha profile, of course: photos, description, services, prices, team, hours. You're still editing one profile in one layout, with the same headings as every other salon on it. A site of your own is as many pages as you have things to say.

That's the difference between sitting in front of everyone on a platform and sitting in front of the people looking for the thing you're good at. They've decided they want a salon. What they're doing now is choosing between three of them, on a phone, in about four minutes.

How we make it simple

The site is built from your Google Business Profile. The hours, the phone number, the address, the photos and the reviews Google is already showing become the foundation of it, so you don't type any of it twice and nothing drifts out of sync with what people are being shown today.

From that listing we make a page for each service on it, and an FAQ from the questions your reviews keep raising: parking, how long a full head of highlights takes, whether you do a patch test, whether there's someone who cuts curly hair dry. A first-visit guide for the woman who has never had colour done and is quietly nervous about it is the kind of page a site of your own can carry, and it's yours to add whenever you want it.

The technical work you would otherwise pay an SEO person for comes with it. The site is written to be indexed by Google and read by ChatGPT: real pages of text rather than an app screen, structured data describing the salon, a sitemap, and the whole thing submitted to Google and Bing on the day it goes live. Google can show a page at your address, under your salon's name, working for one business.

Give us the salon's name and we come back within one working day with the site, nothing to write first. When something changes, tell us and we update the site.

How they work together

Fresha keeps the diary. Same deposits, same reminders, same card machine, and nothing about how your week fills up has to change. Fresha charges a one-time new client fee when somebody discovers you through its marketplace, and its own help centre is plain about the other direction: if a client finds you through your website, social media or a referral, no fee is charged.

Your Instagram bio points at your site rather than at a marketplace listing, so the people who came for one reel land somewhere you control and can read about the service they're actually after. The website field on your Google Business Profile points there too. That's the link most people press once Google has shown them your name.

What you pay

£30 a month. A real site with pages, not a one-page card: your treatments, your team, your prices, built from your Google listing and sat on your own .com or .co.uk. Hosting and updates are in that figure, so there's nothing else to renew. We check every page, you read it before you pay, and you can cancel any month. The domain is still yours if you do. One extra client a month pays for it.

Put your salon's name into our salon page and we'll build the site from your Google listing, so you can read yours before you decide anything.

Have a look before you decide

Tell us your business name and how to reach you. We build a site from your Google listing and get in touch within one working day. It's £30 a month if you keep it, and you can cancel any month.
